Training the next generation of Church Leaders
For over sixty years NAB has been ministering in Brazil’s southernmost state of Rio Grande do Sul. Some of these ministries include the founding of the Chain of Love children’s home, to multiple church plants, and the founding of a seminary in the capital city of Porto Alegre.
Today the NAB Brazil’s focus has been to help train church planters and leaders at the seminary.
Visiting Professors
We invite you to be a visiting professor at the seminary. Those who have come to teach have not only found a life-changing experience for themselves, but also leave behind a lasting impact on the students.
Theological Education
Training the nationals to reach their own people with the gospel is the key goal of the NAB in Brazil team. This is done primarily at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Porto Alegre. The seminary offers a Pastoral Formation Course as well as Master and Doctoral degrees through a partnership with Kairos University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Kairos Scholarships
Kairos Brazil launched in January 2022 , allowing us to offer Master and Doctoral programs at the seminary for the first time. The students enrolled are eager to continue to learn as they serve in their vocations. By giving to the scholarship program you are making it possible for the students to continue their education without the burden of high tuition costs.
